Privacy Policy

JayakHub ("we", "our") operates a food-ordering and delivery platform connecting customers, restaurants, and delivery drivers in Iraq. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, phone number, email (optional), profile photo.
  • Location data: delivery addresses and, for drivers, real-time GPS while on an active order, to enable delivery and tracking.
  • Order data: items ordered, prices, delivery instructions, order history.
  • Payment data: payment method selected (e.g. Cash on Delivery). Card/wallet details, where supported, are processed by the payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Restaurant & driver data: business and KYC details, documents, vehicle and inspection records, earnings and payout details.
  • Device & usage data: device identifiers, app interactions, and diagnostics for security and fraud prevention.

2. How we use data

  • To process and deliver orders, calculate ETAs, and route drivers.
  • To process payments and payouts.
  • To provide support, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
  • For service communications and, with consent, marketing.

3. Location tracking

Driver location is collected only during active orders to enable delivery and live tracking, and stops when the driver goes offline. Customer location is used to set delivery addresses and ETAs.

4. Cookies & similar technologies

Our website and apps use cookies/identifiers for sessions, preferences, analytics, and fraud prevention. You can manage consent in app settings.

5. Data sharing

We share order-necessary data between the customer, the restaurant, and the assigned driver. We use service providers (hosting, mapping, payment processing) under contract. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users and authorities of qualifying breaches as required by law.

7. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the service and legal/accounting requirements. On account deletion we remove personal data and retain limited order/financial records where law requires.

8. Your rights

You may request access, export, correction, or deletion of your data, and manage marketing consent, in app settings or by contacting us. See the Account Deletion policy.
